As well as the full NVQ that we can offer, we have previously
negotiated the delivery of the "mini-awards", a small numbers of units that
can then be transferred to another learning programme so that it can be converted
into a full NVQ. This is particularly useful when dealing with the provision
of accredited qualifications to the creative and cultural industries; the majority
of which are made up of SME that have limited time available to continuous professional
development. These mini-awards prove to be very popular in introducing individuals
that have not previously engaged with learning opportunities to begin to realise
the value of them to their personal and professional life.
We are able to plan, deliver and assess the following schemes:
Mentoring in the workplace; suitable for those that
want to mentor learners on an individual basis and review their progress against
learning outcomes. Mentoring includes walking alongside the person you are
teaching and inviting him or her to learn from your example.
Coaching in the workplace; suitable for those that
want to enable individual learning through coaching, expanding the learners
awareness of the internal and external issues that might be in the way of
reaching a goal through encouragement and advice.
Training and presenting in the workplace; suitable
for those that want to design learning programmes and training sessions and
present them to a group of learners.
Skills training in the workplace; suitable for those
that want to design learning programmes and training sessions and enable learners
to learn through demonstrations and instructions.
We pride ourselves on being able to construct an individual
learning programme for our learners so that they get the most out of the award
for the development of their future career in the creative, cultural and community
sectors.
